I want to come to liberty plaza from DC but I hear there is no room to sleep or even stand In the square. Can anyone inform me I this is true or not true? Thanks.
save the gas money. It's a bunch of uninformed asses who like to hold loudspeakers
lol you will get that when people think they can get on TV
Not true. There just aren't that many people out. The crowds you see are around the media cameras to make things look massive but there's a lot of open space. The free food from the unions is nice. Good to get paid SOMETHING for being out to shout, right?
NYC has 8 million people in it so it is always pretty congested. I have not been down there myself, but you should contact the organizers who can maybe steer you towards areas you can rest. It's not Tahrir Square where people have tents set up and are living there, they come there each day, and at some point, they leave and come back the next day. That's my understanding of it, but the organizers of it must have places nearby that activists are sleeping overnight, try to check into that. Hotels are very expensive, unless you can get a few more people to chip in with you.
