Those of you that have seen my prior posts know I feel getting money out of politics should be our TOP priority.

Most of our problems are traceable back to the fact that moneyed interests have taken control of our government. Using the power they have bought, they have corrupted nearly every aspect of our government. EVERYBODY, liberal or conservative, OWS'er or Tea Partier, KNOWS this to be true, and TAKING BACK OUR GOVERNMENT is demand that ALL of America can get behind.

Insofar as we INSIST on arguing over our minor differences, we become FACTIONS with NO POWER ... just as the STATUS QUO desires. Once we have an UNCORRUPTED Democratic process, we can USE it to settle our OTHER differences the way the Founders INTENDED !

This message is old news for those of you who have read my post at http://occupywallst.org/forum/one-percenter-ready-to-join-if/ and my proposal at http://occupywallst.org/forum/we-the-people-in-order-to-a-proposal/ . I'll take a moment here to thank the MANY of you who have supported me in spreading this message.

I am posting TODAY to share an AWESOME interview Tavis Smiley conducted on PBS last night (see http://www.pbs.org/wnet/tavissmiley/interviews/law-professor-lawrence-lessig ). He interviewed Lawrence Lessig, a director of the Edmond J. Safra Foundation Center for Ethics at Harvard and a law professor at Harvard Law School, regarding his book "Republic, Lost: How Money Corrupts Congress - and a Plan to Stop It" (see http://republic.lessig.org/ ).

I urge ALL OWS supporters to watch the interview. Mr. Lessig is imminently qualified to discuss these matters given he holds a BA in economics and a BS in management from the University of Pennsylvania, an MA in philosophy from Cambridge, and a JD from Yale.

We may have found our LEADER !
