Forum Post: I see here that there is a majority in New York supporting OWS

thats good, but not good enough. i hear nothing in the news about any of the protests all over the world, except for OWS. which means, you are the only ones with the world wide influence. you must arrange a world wide strike. make the whole world stand still for a whole day. striking is the only way of winning any struggle against unfair economical system. i dont know if all of you know that, but the reason people work 8 hours daily is thanks to a strike that has been held in spain a very long time ago. before that people were living to work instead of working to live. unfortunately it is still like that these days and most people live to work. occupying wall street, going out to protest and other methods are not as effective as striking. make the whole country strike and you will see how the 1% folds. their biggest weapon is us and our time. we are the money machine. for us its a one day of work - for them its millions!
