I love Michael Moore, I love how he thinks thinks 9/11 is a conspiracy and I’ll bet a lot of other people do too. Go ahead and point out the fact that the hole in the side of the Pentagon was round and not a cartoony plane shape, go ahead and do that. Isn't the Pentagon built like a bunker, I heard that somewhere. Never mind. Michael Moore is perfectly rational, definitely someone people should trust and follow; I should not try to tear the guy down after all his ideas are inscrutable and would definitely work in America... Too bad no one else in the world seems to have the brains to make socialism work for them. I guess picketing Wall Street for being corrupt makes sense too, I wonder how many more jobs the protesters have been able to convince the hiring citizens to create. Oh wait... the idea is not to help create work and further our economy, it’s to make things fair. This is not what we need to get our national credit rating back on track towards AAA status. However, I’m fine with having the same rating as Japan and China. Not being rated as credit worthy as economic powerhouses like Norway and France is fine with me also, that does not matter to average American Citizens right? I guess not because right now the focus seems to be on those super rich guys, the so called 1% not paying enough taxes... I mean it's not like they pay 37% of the entire amount of money the federal government takes in as income tax. The upper 10% pays 68% of the cost of running the federal government. This is totally unfair, in fact I think the upper 10% should pay all of it, they almost do anyway, what’s 32% more to millionaires right? I’m not going to worry about the fact that getting a job will be even harder now since the people who used to hire are now paying taxes instead of salaries. So I'll need a government salary, nothing too extravagant just enough to live the American Dream, you know the dream house, nice car, and comfortable life style like on E! This salary could be called citizens pay. Again I’m not going to worry about the economic math problem I’m part of where 1 - 2 now equals 3. You see in my world the fair thing is for everyone to have a life style where you can live the dream, those who choose to continue to support us dreamers with their taxes are not likely to leave and go elsewhere. I mean we are the greatest AA economic power in the world right? So there will be lots of people in my future willing to step up and work extra hard for high paying careers in Wall Street which will of course still be here; who doesn’t want to work extra hard to pay more taxes? I wouldn’t but that just me, so which one of you Wall Street guys is ready to get my American dream going, I’m broke and need 4G to download more Michael Moore videos while I sit out here in protest!
Yesterday's "take a bath" troll is tomorrow's "lol let's pretend to be a hippie stereotype" strawman-sockpuppet troll.
Lurk more, try harder.
I am a 56 father of two wonderful children. I went to college, paid my student loans, and even went on to earn graduate degrees. I have 22 years in as an educator in New Jersey and have been a school administrator since 1995. I have worked hard, sometimes two or more jobs to pay the bills. What's my point? I have been (quietly) predicting a revolution for some time now. I have asked my own high school and college aged children why don't young people rise up and demonstrate for their rights and they say they are afraid to be arrested. It is about time people across the world speak on behalf of THE MIDDLE CLASS. And despite what the corporate media would have us all believe there is a clear agenda. Banks, corporations, insurance companies, doctors, lawyers, high level executives and yes Wall Street getting rich on the backs of us all. I have watched as a silent American the decline of our great nation due to greed. During our economic boom we all did pretty well financially but as our salaries lost ground corporate greed raised costs in gas, food and all goods and services. This has to stop! In 2003 gas was a buck. Now it is 3-4 times that much. Did your salary increase that much? All other goods and services have gone up exponentially while income has not kept up at all. I lost all I had in home equity, as I had to take everything out just to pay college tuition for my child. Some American Dream! Since Reganomics I watched American manufacturing go to other countries that have become wealthy on the backs of middle class America while the bottom line for big business increases and jobs are lost. I do not support any political party but Republican policies are detrimental to the Middle class yet the sheep keep voting them in. This bully and creep Gov. Christie is a bloated big mouth who adds insult to injury by freezing middle class workers salaries and taxing us all with increases in deductions due to his party raping the pension formula. What is the matter with you sheep who buy into the anti-union rhetoric? Unions built America and you are destroying everything they did for us. I loved this country but this is not the America my father fought 2 wars for and I believed in. I am disgusted with, health care, fuel prices, party politics and corp. greed and you wimps in the media, the rebellion have a loud and sound agenda political hacks and greed. Pay attention as we will be another Egypt soon if we do not take care of our people.
Salute!
I love the Michael Moore's AND Billy Bragg's of this world because of their soulful courage and indefatigable spirit! With the way the "right-wing" is today (arguably forever), we need people like them to give us hope and remind us that nothing is more powerful than the people joining arms to right a wrong.
..Me too.. and appreciate all his efforts. ( he knows it)
