But politics and power struggles make strange "bed-fellows". If there is anyone that can give insight into how the Wall Street fat cats run their game it would be Bernie Madoff. I think he would be an asset to the movement...even if from a prison cell...just throwing it out there.

The real problem is that monied interests have taken our government from us. See my proposal for TAKING OUR GOVERNMENT BACK at http://occupywallst.org/forum/we-the-people-in-order-to-a-proposal/

Actually that is not a bad idea . But Madoff is not the best you can get.

His scheme was fraud ... that is regrettable, but not really our problem.

Our problem is criminal negligence bye banksters and financial managers and the inability pour politicians to do anything about it.

Well...maybe anyone who was ever jailed for any kind of banking/trading crime. But Madoff is a good choice, because he has nothing left to lose...he will die in jail...and he thus, he has nothing to lose...and he can blow the lid off of the entire criminal system that is Wall Street.

hahahahahahaha

Yes, that does sound crazy. You realize you're talking about someone who destroyed ~$64B in paper assets. That worse than asking Raj Rajaratnam to joint movement.

No kidding

but still, haha. You realize that he was EVERYTHING that OWS is against?

Yes...of course I realize this. But like I said...power struggles make strange bedfellows. If anyone can help #OWS put forth ideas about how to rein in the corruption and greed...it is someone who actually participated in it. It's kind of like using a criminal to catch a criminal...know what I mean?

I know what you mean but you would risk delegitimizing the entire movement. Also, he's in jail and I'm not too sure the NYPD are interested in helping OWS out.
