yes we are angry, but we need to look beyond the anger to find a way forward. we can't be ruled by rage because we'll be dragged down along with the people who got us here. another way of looking at the political-social-economic model is to question the role of wellbeing in all this - to ask why we are her and what's our individual and collective purpose or even duty toward each other. the tocamu.com website offers another wellbeing-focused version of capitalism with a more attractive and inclusive symbol. worth a look... http://www.tocamu.com/
I agree - although the raised fist salute has represented many things throughout history, many of those things representative of our movement, people commonly associate the symbol with violent movements like the Black Panthers and Aryan Brotherhood, and the nature of a raised fist in body language terms, is aggressive.
You might want to use the beautiful "handshake" symbol that appears on the reverse of many Thomas Jefferson medals.
IMO it would symbolize eloquently the solidarity of the 99%.
yes - that sounds a lot more appropriate!
The fist commonly used as a symbol of communist tyranny is quite appropraiate for you radical fuckers.
