Perhaps there could be a way to limit how many new threads are made? Here's what I think:

First off have each thread require a review from the mod before it is posted. Second, to prevent the mod to have to look through billions upon billions of threads that need a review, limit the amount of threads can be on the "to be reviewed list", so in other words, if the list is full, no user will be able to make a new thread until the list is emptied.

This is just an idea, maybe silly idea, but I thought I'd let the idea be known.

what? are you kidding me. why would you want to discourage people? I love reading this stuff.. these people are fucking awesome. Ok, some of them may be a little out there. but- you do represent the 99%, so.. ehmm.. you kind of invited them.

Sure it will work....but the time it would take would be at the absurd level.
