Yeah, I have joked and teased people and they have got upset with me. I hoirt their feelings. But what do you expect from a group that has replaced man and woman with male person and female person, so somesuch nonsense like that. Whoops, there I go again, mocking people. I sort of see the progressive movement as one massive therapy group wiggling fingers and using non-verbal communication to prove something, not sure what. I personally have always liked the middle finger.

have you ever been rip off? have you ever had to give all money to a lawyer just at a shot of justice? fraud/ washed checks by banks that you cant even go to the police with? and have to go through 2 years of pain , eviction courts, and still not be able to get a discovery hearing?or maybe, could not pay the electric bill cause now state law says to remain in a foreclosed house you now must retain lawyer and lawsuit and pay rent in a house you have lived in for the past 20 years? Dont laugh at people, only laugh at yourself. Then people will laugh with you. alot of people hear have been through hell and are very serious, agreed, but if you cant say that you have been in someone shoes, dont try to force them onto fit.]

So, wait a minute. Let me understand you. Suddenly, people begin to protest when it affects them personally but prior to that they were, like, some happy-go-lucky consumers? I feel your pain. I understand what is going on out there. Hell, I am been jobless and without means of survival for a while myself. But, it sort of bothers me that suddenly, people get all revolutionary in consciousness ONLY when it affects them personally. If you get my drift.

yea, but its like the dead kennedys song that goes: there is more of us ,but who goes first?Im original gen-x ok. but thank all of the young guns out there that i see marching for revolution. thats what the 1% dont get. the youth of this country dont remember world without pager. Pager what the hell is that? like a young football team that wins cause they dont know any better! BUT, now that they are up, im on it too. no, i dont camp out, or live my life on the streets,Too old, But my money, spirit, prayers all go to the youth that will charge the hill. hell i thought this day would never come in my lifetime, and im proud to be an american!

[-] 1 points by Sanchez (76) 13 years ago

okay, i can dig it all except the proud to be an american bit. i never think of myself as an american, only a member of humanity...One Love, y'know

Rob, nice broach to an idea below that will boost the movements image and may even lead to donations.

Do some SNL skits? Maybe Lorne Michaels will recognize you, use it and donate? Maybe he want but maybe the public will like them anyway and donate. What's the old aphorism: you can win more with honey, than vinegar.

Here's some ideas:

Corporate America outsources both Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton.

Bernie Madoff scams inmates.

Arthur Andersen returns with new shredder invention.

Insider trading for dummies.

Subprime mortgage scandal on Mars.

Congress goes Chicken Ranch.

Hey, isn't this better than using your heads as objects for police patons?

I'm here to see how some young people think and I'm not very impressed.

Don't hate because you're old, grampa. We're doing just fine, thank you.

[-] 1 points by MountainmanGlen (47) 13 years ago
