No, not a bad person. More like irrational.

It does not make you a bad person, but considering you can get all kinds of awesome dogs for free, it means you aren't that smart.

There is no such thing as a free dog. The vet does not do work pro bono.

I calculate the vet's price in the maintenance, not the getting of the dog. I have three dogs that I brought home without dropping a penny.

Eh... I wouldn't have spent that much. They all taste about the same.

Not at all. It's entirely up to you how you spend your money. That's what OWS is about. In fact that's a great reason to fight for the cause, so you could retrieve the money the thieves stole and buy a dog. btw- you can get dogs for free.

Ah, but you cannot get an Akita for free.

You'd have to llok around and maybe find one that someone want to get rid of. Also, pure bred dogs are not as much dog as they are a man made concoction. They are sickly because as they pass down the preferred genetics they also pass down the weakness and illness. Mixed breeds are much better off and love you the same.

You really need to start with a puppy as they must be socialized or the risk of an aggressive dog becomes an issue. This breed has been around for a very long time and breeders are diligent to monitor the genetics. The benefit of the Akita is that they do not bark, and I really like that.

Hey no problem. It's your money.
