I look back on the lessons that history has taught me, and it become clear that one thing went fatally wrong with the global workers movement envisioned by Lenin. Stalin, that's what happened. That was the great mistake.

Stalin united all industry not under state regulation, but under state operation. If the various sectors of the Soviet economy had been as Lenin had intended, then businesses would have progressed into co-op like affairs owned collectively by the workers who worked there, not by a small handful of powerful elite, which is what we have.

Welcome to America, world's biggest third world nation when you get done cutting the BS statistics out of the picture.

I worked at Wal-mart for a while. Made 5 bucks an hour, couldn't afford college, could barely afford food. I could not afford to work my way out of poverty. That is what the capitalist system is, division of power with no hope of redistribution.

I think that we can save our economy by using our buying power and ingenuity to establish and support businesses which are worker owned and run by democratic voting- no elected officials who would make rules. We would no longer be dependent on other nations, no longer dependent on rich slave drivers- we would be self sufficient and a force as one unto ourselves.

All we need are machines to help us make goods for export and domestic use (easy, all you need is a machine shop mill and 4140 steel and you can make any machine imaginable), raw materials (cotton, oils, metal, plant late- easy), labor (remind me what the real unemployment rate is) and a media of advertisement (cough internet cough)

On an second note- Currently the people have no real economic power. The US government is run by puppets and owned by a handful of major stockholders- the 1%, or less. The US government is a lost cause. There is no right or left, just the illusion of choice. One party with two labels. There is no hope for any kind of a future while relying on them- the 1%.

These are my thoughts on how to fix America, and how to restore dignity and certainty to life.

I am Kelly Jacobs (my books are on Kindle), and I am a working writer in a state of poverty, I am one of the new lost generation, and I am not only a militant communist, I am worse- a thinking communist, and a pissed off, stubborn, socialist.

Together we can beat these rich cats, the 1% we just must actively unite against them and beat them at their own game, or just plain have a revolutionary war.

Real changing of the system will not come from protest, it will not come from dinner parties and rallies, it grows. It grows from the concrete of a machine shop floor, if grows from the hungry bellies of the poor young adults, it grows sprouts from keyboards and hard labor.

Those are my thoughts. What do you think?
