Who said that?

JOHN ADAMS - although the quote is often misattributed to Thomas Jefferson.

You hit it on the head! There are a lot of people at the place I work that dismiss the protests and then with their next breath (literally) they tell me they wish their son or daughter could get a job and move out of their basement. They don't seem to make the connection. We are not living in capitalism right now. It is "crony-capitalism" or neo-fuedalism. We need to get the money out of our politics if we don't want our children to become the 21st century version of the "landless peasant." What we need is real, loop-hole free CAMPAIGN FINANCE REFORM!!! If we can break the cycle of legalized bribery and paid lobbyists we may end up with an America where our children's vote actually means something.
