Capitalism as it stands today is something that is in conflict with democracy and vice versa. Its time to put some changes into both systems to bring this country back around to where we have a fair trade system; allowing for free and fair market adventures. Providing our land, our communities with businesses who establish themselves as part of our economy and want to take part in our economy, responsible for being allowed to play in our sandbox. You want to set up shop you be a responsible member of our community and give back when its shown plausible on the financial reports, that become public records.

Capitalism at its best or worst which ever side of the coin you are contains many practices that have turned out to show us many areas that need to be corrected. the state of affairs we find ourselves in today can be attributed to the ills of the corporate business culture, political culture and the societal behaviors that have entrenched themselves because of these problems. We have corruption in all our societal systems that must be eradicated.

Capitalism as it stands today breeds Greed and corruption that has crept into all corners of our society. It needs to change - we need to modify the systems that govern and that society depended upon for hundreds of years.

WE need to take CARE of all members of our society. Whats fair is fair. Businesses flourish because we the people buy their goods. we all deserve to benefit in this society - across the globe actually as you can see this OCCUPY REVOLUTION is a global one!

Some of the legislation that needs to be updated to suit the times: Its called evolution.

1) CONGRESS PASS HR 1489 ("RETURN TO PRUDENT BANKING ACT" http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=h112-1489 ). THIS REINSTATES MANY PROVISIONS OF THE GLASS-STEAGALL ACT.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glass–Steagall_Act 2) 8. ELIMINATE "PERSONHOOD" LEGAL STATUS FOR CORPORATIONS 3.) CONGRESS PASSING "Revolving Door Legislation" LEGISLATION ELIMINATING THE ABILITY OF FORMER GOVERNMENT REGULATORS GOING TO WORK FOR CORPORATIONS THAT THEY ONCE REGULATED 4.) Congress pass specific and effective laws limiting the influence of lobbyists and eliminate the allowance of such practice 4) Congress pass HR 1489 ("RETURN TO PRUDENT BANKING ACT" http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=h112-1489 ). Reinstate THE GLASS-STEAGALL ACT.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glass–Steagall_Act 5.)Congress enact legislation to protect our Democracy by reversing the effects of the Citizens United Supremem Court Decision which essentially said corporations can spend as much as they want on elections. 6)Congress pass the Buffett RULE on FAIR TAXATION so big business and the wealthy pay their fair share. Close Corp Tax look holes and enact a prohibition on off shore banking. 7) Stop Gerrymandering -a practice that attempts to establish a political advantage for a particular party or group by manipulating geographic boundaries to create partisan, incumbent-protected districts
