Let's put 'we the people' back in congress. We need to put forward independent candidates who will commit to voting for or against legislation based on how registered voters tell them to vote. (Kind of how the House of Representatives is supposed to work.) That will only require a secure website where voters opinions can be tallied according to each legislative district but a companion site dedicated to providing reliable information about any proposed legislation should be included. It would function as a sort of informational equivalent of the GAO.

You could call this a 'white hack' on a democracy that no longer functions as it was intended.

I think they are trying to do something like this a www.lobbydemocracy.com The only prohibitive thing is that they are charging $20 to join. Not sure how I feel about that, though I do understand that setting up this software and servers would be costly. in the mean time...work on changing the framework of our democracy by taking the money out of politics. www.getmoneyout.com or join the discussion here at https://docs.google.com/document/d/14MNou3pijCZ6WeRCinuOmwo75Ul20-fZrlraL7aCzUE/edit?hl=en_US&pli=1
