I believe that because of globalization, ie, the free mobility of capital, America has become an international gun for hire. There are many international groups vying for a say in where we use our resources. International mobility of capital has opened our perverse form of democracy to the world. Any group with substantial funds has a say, though not a veto, as to what our policies are.

Its the bankers running things as usual. Whether they are using the US military as a "gun for hire" is an interesting perspective. I guess it depends on who is doing the hiring....the countries in question or their banking cartel.

America has become an international gun for hire.

That implies that the US operates from a position of weakness. It does not. I also find it contradictory with the US as empire.

Some say they also financed a young Barry Soereto, too. Again, why?

[-] -1 points by GirlFriday (17435) 11 years ago

Why would they do that? Why would they gift money to universities?

The endowment for the Edward Said Chair at Columbia was some four million dollars, right?

Had to google it, but yes, it appears so. What is the point of this thread? You have a theory about what the Arabs are trying to buy here? I am not trying to be a dick, either. Just curious where you are going with this?

There is a story out there that some Arab got O into Harvard (and paid for all his private college career), but again, no one has posited a nefarious reason for it.

[-] -1 points by GirlFriday (17435) 11 years ago

The point of this thread is that mass amounts of cash have been "donated" or gifted to universities (heavily) since the seventies to either expand or create Middle Eastern programs. (We can go back to ARAMCO in the 1950s, anyone?) Too, from some highly questionable sources which is continued to this day.

Harvard is given the first $300,000 in 1977 for a chair in Islamic law. Guess who gave the donation?

And at the same time that companies were blacklisted from doing business with Israel or hiring Jewish people. That also seems to be something that I don't see acknowledged. At all.

So, the other day, Jeremy says that the US is a client state of Israel.
In reading through replies to the joo-ish zionist lobby plot threads that we have had for too long that seems to be the consensus.

That isn't how it works. That isn't how international relations work. Simply because Israel or AIPAC wants something.......doesn't mean that they will get it. Often, if they do get something then it is most often not exactly or how many of what they wanted or it has been stalled to prevent any action being taken. Same game Russia plays. Hell, go back and read up on how the Soviet Union did the exact thing with Egypt. Mmmm...good times.

Now this is either intentional obtuseness and willful ignorance or lack of knowledge that is leading to unquestioning obedience without critical thinking skills.

Theres four spots that run the money economy here, and hence the worlds top military and brute force.

  • Fed President.
  • Fed VP
  • Treasurer
  • Goldman Sachs CEO

Now whether those positions are puppets behind a secret cartel is up for grabs.

The question is, who runs them. Those are the four money positions in this system.

Edit: Our culture and country really needs to stop lumping Zionists with the Jewish people. We all have Jewish friends, they certainly are not part of the problem.

Can you answer the questions? Are you inferring that there is a joo-ish zionist plot?

[-] 0 points by TropicalDepression (-45) 11 years ago

No, I can't.

[-] -1 points by GirlFriday (17435) 11 years ago

So, you have mass amounts of money from Saudi Arabia and the US that are funneled into Madrassas in Afghanistan at the same time period..............and a surge in public opinion that is anti Israel.......and there's no connection?

[-] 0 points by TropicalDepression (-45) 11 years ago

When all four of those money spots have a common thread, its going to bring attention. Its no big secret that the central banks have a very heavy Israeli influence, a global scale.

The anti Israel sentiment you have been speaking of has been around long before "money from Saudi Arabia and the US that are funneled into Madrassas in Afghanistan "

Just like most of the world hates Americans, when they should really just hate our leaders, its the same thing. Its not fair to the general population. Not sure how much traveling you;ve done outside of the country recently, but the average person traveling isnt exactly welcomed with open arms. Except in China, thats not there yet.

into the US universities at the same time that money is funneled into the madrasses in Afghanistan.

You;re data is only going back to the 50's though. Its been going on since the beginning of time.

[-] -1 points by GirlFriday (17435) 11 years ago

That deflects from the question itself. Try again.

[-] 0 points by TropicalDepression (-45) 11 years ago

Its not a deflection.

It shows that your influx of money over the last 50 years probably isnt the leading cause of something that has been going on for eternity.

I'm sure its not helping any, obviously, but its a bit deeper than that in the grand scheme of humanity.

"So, you have mass amounts of money from Saudi Arabia and the US that are funneled into Madrassas in Afghanistan at the same time period..............and a surge in public opinion that is anti Israel.......and there's no connection?"

Man, you are a dense one sometimes. My comment simply states that while yes, there is a connection and its probably not helping the Jewish people, its been going on a lot longer than that, so its not the root cause.

Why would that comment upset you so much? ↥twinkle ↧stinkle permalink

Who is upset? I knew that talking to you was a waste of fucking time in the beginning. New slogan of the day to butcher..........not the root cause.

I said its not helping any, for sure.

It's just not the root cause of it. Its been going on since the beginning of mankind. Go tell the Jewish people their struggles just started in the 50's. They will laugh in your face.

If you want to put the bulk of the blame for global anti-semitism thats been going on for a long, long time, on Saudi donations to some US universities, well.... have fun with that. Been going on a lot longer than your article.

Try to find some more studies. ↥twinkle ↧stinkle permalink

Now you're just being assinine and again neglecting the issue. Who in their right mind would place antisemitism as beginning in the 1950s? You see? this is why talking to you is such a fucking waste of time. You spend all your time in a bunch of fucking nonsense.

Get back to me when you have the capacity to actually discuss anything. In the mean time, you don't need to look for studies but you should invest in a few books. And read them.

[-] 0 points by TropicalDepression (-45) 11 years ago

Just let me know which text books are the ones that aren't Saudi propaganda first :)

Honestly GF, there probably is a connection. I stated that. But you are making a statement that seems to be hinting that its the leading cause.

Nah. It shows a deep disconnect between people who again scape goat one group and jump up and down about lobbyists and then turn a blind eye to a group that is anti-Israel that is funded by some highly questionable people and organizations. And the US government via Title VI. Which is really almost funny because they are anti American yet receiving funding for their existence.

Listening to a bunch of people whine about AIPAC and talk about the jooish zionist plot and supporting profs that are from the PLO and/or Pro Hamas is .............a bunch of bullshit.

The reality is that what I am telling you doesn't fit into your narrative. The lobbying is done in a different method and is there to influence kids in the same way that it was done in the ME. Minus the AK 47s and dead Soviets and the push for a Jihad.
