I think it would help OccupyWallStreet forum if when a person responds to a particular topic, their comment jumps to the top of that particular topic.
And everybody who is "following" that particular topic should be notified that a new comment has been left on the topic that they are following.
Right now, I think there is too much unknownness when a person responds to a comment in the middle of thread. Yes, the topic rises to the top of the page, but most people are clueless as to what the latest response was.
So just now I posted to this topic. It went to the first position on the forum list. However, my newest comment is not at the top of list, so how is anyone to know what the latest comment is?
This is a major defect in my opinion, which of course, no one will read because this comment also will not be at the top of the thread even though right now it is the most current.
Let me explain this better. If I simply post a reply, it does indeed go to the first position. However, if I reply to someone else's post, ONLY THEY get a notice that someone has responded to their post.
That significantly limits who knows what the new post is to only the people on that particular thread, and that is a huge defect in my opinion. You probably can't find the prior comment I made to the one above this just a couple of minutes ago.
But do they really want more viewers? It seems they do not!
Doesn';t seem so. Bensdad./wsmith/ericweiss/shoes/multiman is banning users left and right. Just look at all the new usernames with 0 comments. This site is dead and a joke.
U R the dead joke. Old and stale moldy and smelly.

Good question.
Send suggestion into the site.
They don't read their own forum?
Do you see every post that is made? Every comment?
Think about it. If they don't read the title of every new topic, there would be all kinds of spam on here.
So if they read just the topic titles, that should get their interest, no?
If you say so. Never notice that crap does end up on the board?
Are you enabling irresponsible behavior? Eventually, the post is removed, no?
What???
Is it? How many people do you think are running this site?
Nobody knows, do you? Isn't there a fund to help out?
I would think every topic title would be a logical compromise.
