Millions of people arrested for using drugs. Compulsory public schools that don't educate, they indoctrinate. Money taken out of your paycheck before you spend a dime. More people in prison than any other country. Police bullying and beating innocent people without any recourse. Patriot act. Dept homeland security treating everyone like a criminal. Phony war on terrorism. No real investigation of 911. A decade of war that none of us wanted

You weren't for a long time. But now you are, and police batons can't change that. Freedom is never really given. It's always taken.

Yup and people actually come here and scream GET A JOB and cannot understand why anyone would take to the streets in protest?

It's been 11 years of things going from tragic to horrible to even worse.

As well as hundreds arrested today protesting, generally peacefully. The 42 arrested at 46th and 6th who were told "three times to disperse" were simply trying to reach Times Square.

This is a blatant disregard of our right to peaceably assemble.

While the right has made some laws that take our freedoms away, the left has taken far more away in the form of rules, laws and over regulation.

Perfect example is smoking laws.

When they first presented the law to the public that forced business to provide a separate area for smokers, the smokers in this country said it was the first step towards outlawing smoking. The left and their lawmakers dismissed these sentiments as NONSENSE. That it's just a REASONABLE law and that smokers fears of the government going further were unfounded.

Then years later after some time had passed, they forced businesses to go smoke-free and that smokers must smoke outside. Then a few years after that they said you had to be a certain amount of feet away from the entrance to the business in order to smoke. THEN a few years later and there are now many places that even won't let you smoke in the open air of outdoor public parks or beaches.

Had they presented these laws all at once, there would have been a huge backlash. But if you implement this anti-smoking agenda in piecemeal form over many years, the original agenda becomes law slowly but surely without people noticing as much cuz it was implemented a small chunk at a time. Death by a thousand cuts instead of a slash across the throat.

Kinda like the frog in a pot full of water that is very slowly brought to boil and never jumps out.....and then he's dead.

That's what the left loves to do.... make law after law slowly taking our rights away to do anything. Before long, you won't be able to cut your lawn without the government requiring you to pay for an environmental study first.

Yes I exaggerated that last one for effect and to get the point across. But looking at some of the laws out there and the new ones being proposed by a lot on the left..... the scary thing is it's not too far from the truth and that should have you concerned.
