I´ve been thinking about it in the past. I imagine a facebook-like interface.

Everybody can register and then take part of a new system.

In this system people can create groups. Lets say a group can be of maximum 100 people and everybody that enters the group has to place some money. (With maximums and Minimums)

Example. I create a group that is interested in investing in English schools. I decide those that want to enter have to invest a minimum of 20€ and a max of 200€. I make a little description and people are able to apply to enter into the group. The moment 100 people are part of the group, nobody else can enter. Inside the group, some people will want to invest there time, come up with businessplans and others will supervise or simply vote for plans and the money will be invested into those plans the group favours most. Earning and loses will be shared by the whole group and new economic system will help people from the whole world.

I thought about it a few month ago, don´t remember all the details (like max. groups, and min. max investments....), but I came to the conclusion it would help the humanity to feel better, make better bets and it would make it easy to suddenly invest in a little dentistcompany in Namibië for example and enjoy the properity of a distant partner and at the same time could lead to more efficient and professional investments (so Higher rate of returns :-).

Are you talking about a parallel system? By the way, some of it sounds like the micro finance that kiva.org does

Yes after i thought about the system I started researching on the internet and Kiva looks like a nice idear, but the difference was that Kiva sets up the organisation that controls and does the follow-up when it comes to the projects, while I believe it would go way further if the people that invest themself are part of the monitoring system. I don´t even know if parallel is the way forword, I think it would be easiers (at the beginning) to use the existing bankingsystem to link the world. If I could make it parallel and become a serious threat to the lehmans and the Rothschilds it would be an extra bonus, but that is not the main added value I was thinking of.
