Forum Post: How can we bring toilets and sanitation?

So many cities seem to be using the excuse that the protests need to be shut down because of unsanitary conditions. (human waste, trash, vermin, etc.) If conditions are bad enough, it is important to keep things clean. We don't want people getting sick.

I am sure it could be possible to raise money to bring in private companies with portable toilets and regularly clean/take them away.

I am sure the occupiers could organize themselves enough to keep things clean and pick up trash if another company could be hired to haul it off.

Is anyone out there discussing these options? I could imagine cities blocking the arrival of these services but it might be worth a try.
