Here is what Warren Buffett had to say today: "Mitt Romney's U.S. tax rate of about 15 percent reflects poor laws He's not going to pay more than the law requires, and I don't fault him for that in the least. But I do fault a law that allows him and me earning enormous sums to pay overall federal taxes at a rate that's about half what the average person in my office pays."
I am appalled at the rigged game that our elected representatives have left, where by the well heeled are using the watering trough to line their fat pockets. I think this begs the questions that we must ask of our elected representatives:
What taxes are our representatives paying?
What was your tax rate last year?
Why are the taxes our representatives and senators pay not part of public disclosure for the time they hold office?
What will you do to correct such an injustice?
They can't get all of you. Although that being said, no one will do it because they'll be afraid it wil be them.
