Just for a "good cry and a laugh" I thought I would post this about the OWS nemisis, "that other movement to change government" - the Tea Party

Tea Party leader says "Women are too emotional to vote."

Janis Lane. "Women can't handle the right to vote" video: http://tinyurl.com/cpregbc

Janis Lane, leader of the Central Mississippi Tea Party, says the biggest mistake America has made was giving women the right to vote. Her remarks were made last June in an interview with the Jackson Free Press, but just now came to light through the efforts of the New Orleans-Times Picayune.

She votes. Yet she is not sure that women deserve that right.

Lane also described women as overly “emotional,” and likely to “come on their periods” while in the voting booth – thus preventing and precluding them from making rational choices while trying to pick and choose their favorite candidate.

More Quotes from Janis Lane: "There is nothing worse than a bunch of mean, hateful women. They are diabolical in how they can skewer a person. I do not see that in men. The whole time I worked, I'd much rather have a male boss than a female boss. Double-minded, you never can trust them.”

Like Libertarians and the new "disgruntled Obama supporters" they are mere alternative casts of the nets of the dwindling RepubliCon Cult formerly known as the Republican Party. The 1% owners couldn't care less what their zombie minions do, think or say, they just need a reasonable facsimile of "Votes" so they can manipulate a placement of their people into our government to make things run "smoothly" for them. "Smoothly" means: Uninterrupted redistribution of wealth from the 99% to them.

Well there certainly are a lot WORSE choices out there than Obama, thats for sure. As much as I have slammed the Obama/Romney "two sides of the same coin" I would sure hate to see Obama lose. I remember when Bush won in 2000, I went "whoa, mistake!!" and then I nearly died when he was re-elected.

Tea Party people can be so looney... Good thing they are not a real political party...

POTUS is important, but there are a ton of very important down ballot races!

Here's the goods on the other elections: http://occupywallst.org/forum/not-just-potus-down-ballot-voting-info-4-u/

There's a change in the wind.

It's a change of season?

No, it's a change of heart,

and a change of mind.

The people are awakening.

The masses are a-stirring.

There's a change in the wind.

Huh?

One of the very best bands I ever saw live was the early Split Enz, their later commercial stuff was awful.

They're from Un Zud, not Australia.

One of the best bands I ever saw live was the Violent Femmes, from Milwaukee.

Not my fav, but def a must-see when they were on tour, back in the day. Negatory on Merin Smith.

Still like the Strolling Bones, and U2, and Pink, and Alanis Morrisette, and Blondie, and Kate Busch, and lots of others.

Speaks volumes.

Music was my first love and through it I got into politics. Romantic

she sounds very emotional

[-] 1 points by Karlin (350) from Nelson, BC 12 years ago

Yes, emotional - the very quality... Maybe she is not yet past her menopausal years either. Plus, she sounds "mean, and hatefull".

If only she would have included HYPOCRITE...

Why must the truly insane pretend to offer sanity? Why?

I love this game. Cannot control my mind? Try to make a biological argument.

I guess she needs to get back in the kitchen and stop writing articles.

This lady is a nut. I would have to say that almost 100% of the biggest pain in the asses, just total fuck ups of human beings, that I currently and have known, are almost ALL male. Without a doubt.
