These simple price histories are VERY instructive, but they are RARELY shown. http://showrealhist.com/yTRIAL.html ("The public be suckered.")

Both up to date: http://www.showrealhist.com/RHandRD.html Straightforwardly: the main enabler of sizable asset price bubbles (very harmful) is keeping the real price histories out of sight. The plotted data for Real Homes and Real Dow are available in these tables: http://www.showrealhist.com/RHtable.html http://www.showrealhist.com/TABLEnum.html

Last prices relative to extrapolated histories -- noted following the first chart here: http://www.showrealhist.com/RD_RJShomes_PSav.html

It would be interesting to see the CPI overlaid the Dow graph. Do you make these graphs or are they taken from which site??

Here's something representative. From 9/1929 to 1/2000, the nominal Dow rose a factor of 31. But CPI-U rose a factor 9.8 So, the Real Dow rose just a factor 3.2 Here http://occupywallst.org/forum/condemn-venal-journalism-for-severely-fooling-the-/ see Adolf Hitler.

I did the charts, but not the one you said -- all the numbers you need are here: http://www.showrealhist.com/TABLEnum.html
