Stand about as long as you like the 1% don't care. To have impact on banks, you must take financial action. We need financial sytems to run our lives but we dont need banks. If every-one - EVERYONE - moves their business to Credit Unions - financial cooperatives owned by the members - it will affect the banks. But it needs every-one.
I'm thinking bankruptcy would have a decent impact rack those high interest cards up and tell them to kiss your ass
I wouldn't let them kiss my ass. I like my ass better than that.
You make a very go point, but you know they already owm it (-:
LOL...well, they should have inspected before they bought. No return policy ya know. :) And, it might be a bit defective.
Oh I am sure it is of fine quality (couldn't pass that up)
So where is big doug, this is his forum and he abandons it?
I am going to post in his window and see if I can wake him up
Agreed; however, Credit Unions needed to be significantly reorganized in order to have a significant impact in creating Wealth & Income for the 99%, so perhaps you would consider our group's proposal of an alternative online direct democracy of government and business at http://getsatisfaction.com/americanselect/topics/on_strategically_weighted_policies_organizational_operating_structures_tactical_investment_procedures-448eo , hit the facebook “like” button if agreed, and then join our group's 20 members committed to that plan at http://finance.groups.yahoo.com/group/StrategicInternationalSystems/
Hey big Doug where are you at?
You are not replying to any of us
Did you know that for unsecured debt like a credit card, there's a statute of limitations on how long they can pursue you to pay the debt? Most states have a limit, anywhere from three to six years depending on the state. I'm 99% sure of this. If you rack up a credit card debt and then ignore the hate mail until the limit, they cannot force you to pay. Of course, you'll take a hit on your credit score and I would never condone doing something so "irresponsible," I just thought I'd put that info out there.
Hi Big Doug,
We plan to pull our money out of Wells Fargo after banking with them for 12 years. Can you imagine what November 6th will be like if we collectively remove OUR money from the banks? I hope they experience post traumatic stress syndrome so they know what it is like for far too many Americans who wake up every day without jobs, healthcare, homes, or enough food to feed their children. The sad reality is that execs at the top of the banking system won't care; rather, they will simply reduce their workforce and put more hard working people out of work in order to protect profit and shareholder value. LOL...then displaced banking employees can find jobs with credit unions as their market share will create jobs.
I'm already there. And regardless of OWS, the service from m credit union is so good, I wouldn't even consider banking with a megabank. AND, in addition to treating me like a human, my credit union supports my local community. Can't ask for better than that. I encourage all my friends and colleagues to move their accounts to this credit union - we should all do the same.
