Forum Post: History of New York Summer Activism Leading Up To OWS?

I'm extremely interested in how OWS was planned on the ground, not just in the internet ether, before September 17th. My reading has highlighted the importance of the Bloombergville occupation and the New York General Assembly, but I can't find much information on either one. The NYGA in particular seems to just not have been well documented; though the issue may well be that it shares a name with one of NY's legislative houses. Do you know of any articles on these issues (summer activism, NYGA, on ground planning of OWS, etc.)? I'm trying to figure out when and how procedures for the general assembly were established.
