It just shows how out of touch the Republican party is by the latest comment by Herman Cain (Rep Pres Can) saying that we shouldn't blame the banks or big business, if you don't have a job, it's your fault and these protests are "anti-american? So now' I guess the Republican view is that it's Anti-American to peacefully protest in a democracy like America? That the millions of unemployed our simply in that position by personal choice? If this isn't time to march, to voice out, to be heard loudly, when is? Herman Cain sounds more like a anti-american communist? Thats not what America needs for a President (Former Pizza chain CEO). It's time to stand up and say, if you're going to have China Make it, Have China "Buy-It"!! if American's aren't good enough to make your products, don't sell it to us. We don't want it. American CEO's are being paid millins in bonuses to cut back american workers to a minimum and continue to cut costs through Asian labor sources. What do you think the 10 million bonus was for? Then the Republican's argue that we can't ask Big-Business to pay a fair share of taxes, it'll cost job growth? So where is all the jobs that they should be generating from all the tax breaks, tax cut's, etc. It's not happening. In fact' they stock pile trillions overseas to avoid paying more taxes? But wait' that's not Anti-American right? It's only Anti-American to complain about it. Especially in a democracy..
That Cain guy is one of the weakest homo sapiens in the country....definitively!
So vote Obama because Cain is bad? Do you think he'll make GE pay taxes in the second term, or will he keep Jeff Immelt on as a personal "Jobs Advisor" who makes billions and pays nothing in taxes.
Ummm.... I think Herman made every one of his pizzas in the US.
He also brought the company back from near-bankruptcy (i.e., US jobs saved) and bought the company away from the evil multi-national Pillsburry Corp to the significant benefit of the employees. And he's actually had to flip a burger or two in his life.
But you might want to talk to Immelt at GE about the sending jobs to China thing. You can catch him at the next meeting of Obama's Jobs Council (great advice so far huh?)
I don't think that he knows anything about what it's like to flip burgers though. He was born into an upper class family, went to Harvard B School, and his daddy who ran the GE engines division got him his job.
; )
But in any case I'd agree that was a dumbass thing to say.
Ah that reminds me of another Cain...(Well...MCCain but you know same idea)

Why doesn't he tell that to the people living in tents?
A Progressive response to Herman Cain: The protesters are hard working Americans who are now doing the great work of restoring our democracy and building an economy that works for all instead of the few. There is not a shortage of work ethic in this country, there is a shortage of work. The private sector hasn't provided jobs. Big business has has been given nearly everything they've asked for over the last three decades: tax breaks, lax regulation, bailouts. And yet where are the jobs? It is the conservative economic policies that Herman Cain espouses that have run the economy over a cliff, taken away our freedoms, and killed jobs.
Nobody in America gets rich on their own. They use the incredible infrastructure built by the workers of this country over generations, that allows people to prosper in the first place. Roads, courts, schools, the SEC, the FDIC, clean air, water, medical services, on and on. Those who have prospered should pay their fair share. The wall street bankers have no regard for the common good, and are unamerican for not investing in America.

We could never be anything without the help of our government? Really? When Cain was a child, Americans didn't wait for work to fall out of the sky like it was manna from heaven. They didn't wait for the private sector to go create them a job.
They started businesses, starting with Lemonade stands at an early age. Nowadays, many cities write kids tickets for opening a lemonade stand without a business license. This is the great government that facilitates your wealth.
Personally, I don't blame any college age person for not having a job. I blame their parents for allowing the idea that we are nothing without a college education and government assistance to become part of our culture.
The Solution can be found in a man of unwaivering consistency for over 30 years!

Wasn't really counting on Mr. Cain's early support. But he is clearly in the 1%. What he doing for us is embarrassing some of his fellow 1%er's.
