As Americans, we share a common heritage of heroes, from the Boston Massacre of 5 March 1770 to the Passengers' Revolt on Flight 93, on 11 September 2001.
More than a decade ago, on 9/11, Flight 93 was hijacked by terrorists who, it is believed, planned to crash Flight 93 into the White House.
They never got to do that, because of the heroism of the passengers and crew of Flight 93: they rose up against the hijackers and fought to take their plane back. Flight 93 crashed in a field in western Pennsylvania. There were no survivors. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OPYMS9a8ELE&feature=results_video&playnext=1&list=PL83AAD1FC0D0E0E9D
