Forum Post: Help Save Susquehanna River from Shale Gas Corporations

We are in Riverdale, Jersey Shore, Pa. holding land, we Occupiers from NY, Ohio, Pennsylvania and various other states. This morning we were awakened by a front end loader knocking down barricades we had made. State police did not want to hear witnesses or take license plate number of perpetrators. Second incident in two days. We need people in Jersey Shore to defend the residents and the river against the shale gas corporations. We are up against power, money and legislators who have been bought, including a governor who accepted 1,6 million from their lobbyists. We need help.
