I'm no one important. I'm only a cyberpoet, but I have started a petition to nominate Noam Chomsky (international icon among students and peace-minded individuals everywhere) for a Nobel Peace Prize, because I think it is well-deserved and because I believe the nomination will bring much-needed international attention to the cause of Peace.

The same piece of piss 'peace' prize that Obomber got ?!!! WTF good would that really do ?!! Sheeesh ! Chomsky doesn't need or want any more prizes - he wants our collective action and resistance through knowledge and education and we honour him more by looking into the things he speaks about. So, for some deeper 'dot joining' insights from someone who Chomsky refers to and reads, please see :

From the book of the same name, '''The Crisis of Civilization' is a remix documentary feature film investigating how global crises like ecological disaster, financial meltdown, dwindling oil reserves, terrorism and food shortages are converging symptoms of a single, failed global system.'' .. and I emphatically assure all readers that it will be time very well spent and you won't forget viewing it. Kissinger won the 'NPP' too you know ! Do you think Chomsky wants to associated with him ?

veritas vos liberabit ...

People endorsing war and then voting for peace prizes? Sounds about right.

Thoughts?

If we don't go to war it would be a great accomplishment. Now if we can get him to stop bombing the other 5 nations that don't have Russian support, we will officially on the moral path to freedom.

See what I mean, a massive air campaign against a sovereign nation is no longer an act of war.

We have completely lost our fuckin minds.

Geez, ZD. I was impressed that you would admit your misstatement of fact and then you had to go and ruin it with a totally irrelevant (to your statement that we didn't go to war) jab at McCain. When were we discussing him in this thread?

You beat me to it. 100's of cruise missiles and air strikes are now "military interventions". That sounds so MUCH better than WAR. Downright Orwellian

Rabid partisan political beliefs cause brain damage?

Rabid partisan political beliefs cause brain damage?

I don't know - lets find out.

Do you believe that Jesus rode dinosaurs?

Do you believe in clean coal?

Do you believe in Quantitative Easing of the stock market?

Are Davey & Charlie cock . . . Koch your heroes?

Do you support ALEC and it's prepackaged corp(se)oRAT legislation?

Do you feel that the very wealthy people and corp(se)oRATions pay enough or too much in taxes?

Do you believe that Boner, Bitch, Can't-or, lyinRyan etc - support the Constitution/people?

Strawmen all.

Do you believe removing Saddam was a war crime and removing Assad is a righteous action? ZD doesn't seem to have approved of the former and is on board with the latter. In fact, he is dowright war mongering and then talking peace prizes?? Does that really make sense to you?

That is what we were discussing here...your standard putdown questions are terribly off topic

EHhhhhhhnnnt FAIL

Iraq just like Afghanistan just like droning Pakistan just like air strikes against Libya and now the proposed action against Syria. ALL done for reasons of controlling resources.

Iraq - Should Sadman and sons have been killed? yep you bet - by their own people. Invasion was not necessary and killed more civilians than Sadman and sons did.

Afghanistan? - we should not have gone there at all.

Pakistan? - Droning civilians? Total war crime.

Libya - Gaddafi?- again killing on a large scale his own people - yep kill but by his own people. Airstrike Intervention? Worked pretty well in shutting down the machines of war being used to kill the civilian population. Should have been a UN action.

Syria - Asshat? - again killing his own people on a large scale for two years now - kill him? Yep - but again by his own people. Intervention needed? Yep you bet - something similar to Libya air-strikes - BUT - it should "again " be a UN action.

But again:

Iraq just like Afghanistan just like droning Pakistan just like air strikes against Libya and now the proposed action against Syria. ALL done for reasons of controlling resources. not humanitarian reasons - or maybe we would have gone into Rwanda.
