Last Friday in defiance of the US Supreme Court ruling, Citizens United, the Montana Supreme Court ruled 5-2 to uphold a state law which banned corporate spending on state and local campaigns. It seems that they remember their history when in the early 1900's, the Copper Kings are said to have "bought legislatures and judges as other men buy food and raiment."
Those boys have some big cohunes. Maybe we could get some of them to leave the Big Sky Country and come back east.
It's a start, but it won't stop them from spending in the national campaigns.
I do commend them for taking that step.....................:)
