All of OWS demands come from Obamas past remarks and speeches. Makes one wonder if the unions, soros and moveon.org has hijacked it....

Obama needs the Wall Street Bankers (and their money) to run a national campaign, and although I'm all in favor of taking down today's ineffective and inefficient Top 10% Management Group of Business & Government, there's only one way to do it – by fighting bankers as bankers ourselves. Consequently, I have posted a 1-page Summary of the Strategic Legal Policies, Organizational Operating Structures, and Tactical Investment Procedures necessary to do this at:

Please trying reading and thinking about what the link says before you respond with insults. Why? Because such insults only make you look bad. Please protect your reputation.

I haven't voted since Bill Clinton's first election (and I voted for him). Since then I gave up voting out of disgust for either party having a strategy which serves the Bottom 90% of Workers. Both parties are evil. So please, read and think about what I've written, and then please use logic, not emotion, as your tool of communication. I want to agree with you logically, not fight you emotionally.

you are not ows come and protest and you will see where the majority of our movement stands

[-] 1 points by atki4564 (1259) from Lake Placid, FL 13 years ago

Again, PLEASE read what I've written -- FIRST -- and then reply logically, NOT emotionally. Your constant emotional responses made you look bad. Besides, I live in Orlando, not New York, but if you read what I've written then you'd finally understand that I am with you.

but your type of demands are not aligned with the majority of the movement what you are saying is misleading you are and many like you are the reason why the media assumes we have no clear message you are hurting the movement

Yeah, he mentioned OWS in a backpedalling backhanded manner in his last speech, with a "What the banks did wasn't illegal. It was immoral, but not illegal."

I voted for him in 2008. I really regret that decision. I'm never voting for him again.

tax cuts for middle class , rebuild America bridges and roads , invest in middle class not banking class by raising minimum wage thats the occupy wall street message

[-] 1 points by imrational (527) 13 years ago

I didn't vote for him. I started voting third party some time ago (with only a few exceptions).

[-] 1 points by Frankie (733) 13 years ago

You have no money so he won't be interested until it's time to get you out to vote for him. Then he'll be your best bud. On board from the start... ; )

[-] 1 points by imrational (527) 13 years ago

How do you know I don't have any money? I happen to be rich. Well, okay... not rich, but I'm not in debt and that makes me rich compared to most of my fellow Americans.

[-] 1 points by Frankie (733) 13 years ago

Meant OWS generally not you personally. But unless you want to drop $40,000 a plate you're not getting any luvin'. lol

He has said he sympathizes. Don't worry soon he will be heading off to a fundraiser with the 1%. So will the other politicians.

I was thinking of short-term demands to present at a local rally I'm planning in my town. If he hadn't said anything, I thought a short-term demand of him acknowledging the movement would have been a good one.

[-] 1 points by humboldt11 (11) 13 years ago

No. That's not a good demand.

[-] 1 points by imrational (527) 13 years ago

got any demands that are achievable in the short term? Something we can point to as a small initial step that we can achieve and claim a victory?

[-] 1 points by thoreau42 (595) 13 years ago

That solves what?

[-] 1 points by JohnnySuburban (88) 13 years ago

exactly.

people want to blame someone for their own problems.

rich ppl are easy targets.

so, tax them.

What does that accomplish? How many ppl will that employ?

Nothing. None.

its just pure class warfare and only worsens the situation for all

[-] 1 points by humboldt11 (11) 13 years ago

No. My dad falls in the 250,000. A few years back he told me that it's only fair if he pays more, but of course, he wasn't complaining when his taxes were lowered.

OWS is a macro issue. If you want to get into nit-picky micro issues, you will need to show more intelligence than a mere critic.

You guys are sad. Zoom out.

QUESTION: Who pays more income tax as a percentage of their own income?

The guy who makes $25k, the guy who makes $50k or the guy who makes $250k?

The guy who makes $250k does.

And your answer to that is...tax him even more?

[-] 1 points by humboldt11 (11) 13 years ago

Top bracket tax percentage is 4 % lower than in 2000. Bush tax cuts?? Ignorant

[-] 1 points by SanityScribe (452) 13 years ago

Only acknowledgement I've notice is when I was labeled a possible terrorist, becuase I disagree.
