I love how he says that he received 2 scholarships, most likely public funded scholarships since he went to a community collage, then goes on to say that he expects nothing to be handed to him... To bad they can't teach common sense. =(

I didn't go to college, i didn't need to. I enjoyed life into my early 20's then started my business. I'm now semi retired at the ripe old age of 34. What is it that you do again ? Corporate peeon ?

I disagree, I think the statement was quite apt, and appropriate.
It is unfortunate that this person has bought into the idea that this movement is about "getting free stuff" or "shifting the blame".
The co-opting and blatant misrepresentation of this movement hurts.
This movement started on one principle - the government does not represent the American people's interests anymore. The political ideology of left or right doesn't even matter. Neither values are being represented. Just the values of those with the money to buy the right agenda.

Not everyone has the smarts to earn a 3.8 GPA. Scholarships are competitive. I admire your sensibility. Good luck finding a job that will pay you what you're worth.
So this is a picture of someone who doesnt get it yet. That is ok, he( i am assuming) is still young. Wait till he has had some experience in real life. He will get it.
You can be cocky when you spend 16-18 years being taken care of by someone else and then get most of your higher education paid for so you can come out of school debt free.
This person hasnt even got a taste of what life is like....yet. But wait, when they do they will find it to be quite bitter and not very agreeable.
Many hard working, self sufficient people feel there are things that need changing.
OWS really has nothing to do with not wanting to work, or getting a handout as so many of you want to imply.
And no, he isn't part of the 1%, he has nothing. He may have graduated college without debt, good on him. He's not a billionaire, though.
