I am wanting to start something to help and coincide with OWS. I want to build a site and perhaps supporters that will help people everywhere grow food themselves. I don't know how to start this and I am not able to do it completely myself. Who would like to help me with something like this?
On top of growing your own food, people can also join together to make their own clothes. There are a lot of people who know how to sew and one can learn to do it themselves. The more self sufficient we get, the less we depend on anyone, the better.
Anyone want to help or have any ideas how to get this started?
Yes. I am wanting to also start local communities, neighborhoods, towns, etc that grow their own food for their own people. Anyone with farm land who can offer up even livestock services, or local butchers, are also useful.
I think this is an incredible and truly productive idea.
If we created small farming communities around the United States, we could foster a system competitive with the big corporate producers.
This would probably shoot a bigger shock to the system than simply protesting alone.
