Forum Post: Great job, guys

Okay, guys, you've been protesting for two months now. You've made your point, and made it very clearly. Nobody could possibly be in any doubt by now that you guys have a lot of problems with the current system. Everyone has by now heard all about your grievances, and either they agree with you or disagree with you. Your protest has been a success.

And now that everyone now understands your problems, there's no more need for the protest to continue. Your movement will now enter the pesky stage known as "other people's opinions." You know, the opinions of the 99% you supposedly represent. Continued protests are not going to change anyone's opinions, whether or not they agree with you.

So you can all go home now. Go back to your jobs - or, uh, whatever it is that you guys usually do while the rest of us work for a living. Let the democratic process run its course. If your ideas are not acted upon, it won't be for lack of protesting.
