Forum Post: Grass roots democracy

Maybe I'm jumping the gun on what this movement is about but here it goes. We need to all quit standing on the sidelines and get involved in the election process. We need to find third party candidates in office by volunteering, donating money running for smaller offices. Voting in primaries. Quit voting for these corporate puppets. I'm not telling u to vote liberal or conservative just find the guy or girl who is right for you find a third party who shares your morals and run with it. If the 99% gets out there and becomes active citizens in the political process again we can win this country back. Occupy isn't asking for demands because the only thing it's trying to do is bring people together. Give people a voice. Get people riled up.
