This article is from 2012.

This little gem: .Overturn Citizens United by a simple act of Congress. Ignore the Supreme Court’s ruling in this and other instances where its decisions violate or stretch the meaning of the Constitution or subvert majority rule. There is no mention of judicial review in the US Constitution; giving 11 unelected judges with life tenure the right to overturn acts of Congress is preposterous.

Came from this article here and was dropped by Ache4change.

This, of course, is the reason that issues R BAD.

It is my understanding that
SCOTUS decisions are final - the law of the land.
Marbury v Madision established this power and we may not like it - we may find it unconstitutuional - but even if congress passes a bill to "overturn" ANY SCOTUS decision such as CU, it will wind up in the courts - going to SCOTUS - where none will recuse themselves.

I believe that the ONLY way to end this is a constitutional amendment

which will be much easier to do if we concentrate on HJR29 first

We must disconnect crapitalism from democracy

Our progressive goals can only be achieved by VOTING for progressive 99% supporters like Bernie & Elizabeth

And to conter the Rs voter supression & lies -

It's implied. It doesn't need to be.

Little v Barreme (1804)

Marbury v Madison

Checks and balances. Only a right wing nutter could bury their head in the sand and play strict interpretation.

"Competition is the enemy. Political power is the name of the game, the key to committing all sorts of crimes – bribery, extortion, fraud, and insider trading, to name but a few – without fear of criminal prosecution. It’s also the key to massive multi-billion-dollar federal tax subsidies (banks, utilities, telecommunications, the oil and gas industry are the biggest beneficiaries) and tax loopholes tailored to the advantage of corporations and the wealthy"

YAY! Super citizens!!

Try not to be under their feet while they are stomping on you.
