this is how our fine government is handling themselves.
For the month of November of this year, the federal government has a budget deficit of 172 billion dollars. That is just for 1 month.
there is enough blame to go around, I suppose, but, according to the US Department of Treasury website, there has been a 4% increase in defense spending, 14% increase in energy spending, and a 32% increase in medicare and medicaid spending between last year and this year.
I do not know what to say. I know the talk is of having the rich pay their fair share, but how about a few spending cuts here and there.
If I was one of the top 1% (which I am not, but continuously striving to be), I sure wouldn't think very highly of contributing more to a system where my pet dog, Tucker, could do a better job than the pack of socialistic clowns that the country seems content on electing.
The 1% response would perhaps be the same as mine: show some real cuts and some fiscal wisdom and we will consider putting our dollars into this gamble known as the American Future.
