Great quote and applicable to OWS. Similarly in sales training there's an old example about commitment citing Ham and Eggs that asks 'Which is more commited, the Ham or the Eggs?' (since the Ham/Pig gave it's life to make the meal, well, you get the picture.)
A wholehearted and focused effort towards a list of specific issues will get results; petitions are a great part of that effort alongside bold actions.
