Or just end the fed and create a monetary policy and tax system that works for the middle class instead of the 1% and the big banks.

CEO's are bleeding this country dry. Instead of lowering minimum wage, let's lower maximum wage which is currently set at unlimited.

graduated income tax would create a soft cap

in that those that make more money would still have more money after taxes

then those who don't make more money

The current minimum wage $7.25 an hour, put in effect in 2007, is now equivalent to $6.54 due to inflation. In another three years it will be worth less than $6 an hour. In fact all of our wages buying power is declining. You need to ask for a wage increase just to keep up with inflation. The company you work for has raised their prices because of inflation. Why haven't they raised your pay too?

So the real minimum wage as well as other wages continue to fall. Why isn't unemployment also falling? .

it's called private contracting

Forbes tells me to deliver newspapers to 600 houses

I can't do that in 6 hours

but since they pay me as an "independent contractor

they're willing to let me take 8 and make less than minimum

,

the government penalized my unemployment benefits for not taking a job that payed less than minimum wage
