If you have an idea about what to do about a specific problem, you can start a non profit organization. Some are huge and seem more like multinational players with political juice. Some are small, perhaps started in church basements with one or two volunteers. All of the over 2 million organizations address the delivery of social justice.
Here are some facts: http://nccs.urban.org/statistics/quickfacts.cfm
Occupiers have a diverse agenda but a single purpose that can be boiled down to a need for human rights. Non-profits have a single human rights agenda that are proliferated in diverse action plans.
It is as silly, immoral and stupid to demands agendas and goals from OWS as it is to demand political allegiance from non-profit organizations.
