The Democratic National Convention is going to be held in Raleigh, NC next year, they don't want anything that will interfere with that, so if there are any successful occupy movements in the state, they will try to nip that in the bud. The Civil War is coming.
EVERYBODY wants a piece of OWS ...
Perhaps petitions of support/protest could be created and circulated to lobby for proper treatment/dismissal of these sorts of cases?
