While they do have plenty of imperfections, we can learn a lot from the wisdom of the men who founded our Republic and wrote our Constitution. They, after all, left a system that they felt was oppressive. They didn't want it to happen again. Our Constitution was written to protect Individual Liberty and to limit the government on it's power to infringe on it. And it is this document, almost single-handedly, that we as citizens should fight to preserve. And to do this, we must vote someone into office that will truly live up to their oath of office: "to preserve, protect, and defend The Constitution of the United States".
To lose focus of this... well, that will be a sad day in America.
