Forum Post: For those that say they will get by

I often get people telling me that this protest is nothing that they will get by, that this is only a phase, that they and others will get by.

Keep getting by then while our congress is bought and our entire elected officials are in the pocket book of large companies. Keep getting by while we spend 1 billion dollars a week on a war that serves no purpose. Keep getting by while the banks can do the same thing they were doing in 2006. Keep getting by while we go into another dip. Keep getting by while the government keeps devaluing our money. Keep getting by while inflation causes everything from food to medical supplies to go up while you deal with one of the lowest minimum wages in history. Keep getting by while things keep getting worse. Keep getting by while the government keeps fighting proxy wars in over 5 counties around the world. Keep getting by while kids go to bed hungry every night. Keep getting by while families loose their houses. Keep getting by when you dont get social security and medicare. Keep getting by while our elderly choose between food and medicine. Keep getting by while our people choose between heat and food. Keep getting by while the banks and government do the same thing they have been doing for the past 20 years.

Or you could stand up for something better. Something better than just getting by
