http://www.counterpunch.org/2011/10/10/financial-giants-put-new-york-city-cops-on-their-payroll/ Who Do the White Shirt Police Report to at Occupy Wall Street Protests? Read this article to learn about the paid bodyguards and armed thugs of Wall Street. IMO they should not be allowed to be associated with the NYPD while on Wall St's payroll. There should be clearly marked uniforms in some other color than blue with "Wall St Security" emblazoned on them. And they should not be using NYPD vehicles. Your tax dollars trained that private security detail for the 1%! And your tax dollars will pay the legal fees for their brutality!
Police officers are also given free rent to oversee apt complexes in bad neighborhoods. Their drawback is that they have to live in the bad
apt complex and be awakened all hours of the night.. They also get paid $50/hr to sit at freeway construction sites. About $25/hr for restraunts and welfare projects. Its just side work. They make dirt pay, check out what I'm saying its true. They have to have approval by their superiors to take side work. I think they are mandated in what they wear. Freeway guarding, police veichles, apts usually not unless they have
a take home car, Restaurants usually personal vehicles, but in uniform. Most bankers regret their job choice more than police, or construction workers if that's any consulation. You might look into how side work and what side work is approved, and why.Well then I should forgive all underpaid people who become unreasonably violent while doing their job. This must include the McDonald's employee who savagely beat up 2 customers (see below). Thanks Officer For setting me straight. http://newyork.cbslocal.com/2011/10/14/shock-video-savage-attack-at-manhattan-mcdonalds/ I also now exonerate all mob hitmen, meathead rough house bouncers, war criminals who flout the Geneva convention and the entire German Army years 1939-1945. And the fact that "most bankers regret their job choice more than police", well that's quite a factoid there! Haha! Source?
