A corporation should be fined for laying off their employees in massive scales. This type of behavior harms the livelihood of the many hard working Americans, as well as the economy in general. It is usually provoked by the unnecessary risk many of these under regulated companies take. The only solution to mitigate this unacceptable behavior is to enact laws that severely penalize those who decide to risk the employment of their employees for a higher profitable margin. Then will these companies start seeing their employees as human rather then machine.

They will just hire you under contract- 1099, and also get away with paying health insurance. It is an employer's market.
