There are loads of things to be upset about. While I can't claim to be financially challenged, I do believe I've stood by too long and watched inequity build and the influence of money on our government corrupt absolutely. Some facts not in dispute? Student loan debt now exceeds consumer credit card debt. Loan recipients are the only class of American citizen who have had their rights to court debtor relief removed. Default fees and interest rates are usury despite government guarantees. Even businesses are allowed to restructure their debt to survive. Signing for mortgages that could not be repaid is a fine rebuff but the real culprit was a government so interested in helping their friends that they allowed the crafting of financial packages by unscrupulous and greedy bankers that sold an entire generation a bill of goods and then collapsed. I could go on about fraud and inequity but let me tell you why I'm excited. Washington and Wall Street fear one thing and one thing only. Your vote! I've sat at meetings while politicians have laughed about the reliability of the American voter to vote against their own self interest as long as it's wrapped up in a nice Fox News like distortion of positions. It's up to us to step up and start making sound decisions at the poles. Take a look at the current field, R or D...anyone hear you'd trust? I wouldn't. My movement was Vietnam and Civil Rights. Yours is to take back this country and create one that makes you proud and will support you and your children. I can't encourage you enough. You are just beginning to understand the power you have. Don't let the politicians play you. Take back the county.

A nation that pursues equality over freedom will have neither.

Their fear is well founded! I am fighting for just that - MY VOTE! My voice in government! 1% buys their representation, 99% are left with the scraps. Money speaks to loudly in our political system, that is what I am fighting to change. We need to get the money out. So that all people have fair and equal voices again! That is the way our democracy should be!
