Our declining standard of living. the government has to borrow money and send us the bill for interest. there should be no interest charged US government/taxpayers.

Occupy the Fed

That should have always been the number one goal. That's been my opinion for a few years.

Take away the bankers' most lucrative asset.

What if we the people determined its value and offered an equal share to anyone instrumental in the takeover. Each person could become a worker-owner if desired and there's a position to fill. Those who don't get the opportunity to work just earn dividends.

We appoint a modestly-paid team to plan economic policy, and the worker-owners democratically decide to engage in proposed policy (such as the gold standard option).

The rest of the world would not benefit directly, but would feel the effect of wealth transferring back to them.

It would obviously lead to different banking practices on all levels. We would feel confident taking over other banks and entities that should belong to the people. The people united are justified in taking from the elite. We allow corporations to exist. We can just take what we want back, and write our own laws.

We can force the predators off our land.

Yawn. Ron Paul was dissing the Fed when I was in diapers. And OWS has no respect for the guy. Does that make sense?

[-] 1 points by Kavatz (464) from Edmonton, AB 11 years ago

Not really.

No, indeed not. He and Kucinich had tried to team up about it before they retired and the folks on this site acted like it was all Big Ears (Ohio)' idea!

I have no idea what any of that means, sorry. I make it my mission to ignore politics. I only care about concepts/ideas/plans/evils, not people so much.

OK...have kinda got that from your posts. BUT, Ronnie and Dennis were the only 2 in congress that wanted to do something about the FED. Don't matter now, they are both sitting on the bench and no one else has taken up the torch, unless, of course Occupy does. I know you don't care, but IT IS a bipartisan issue.

I do know who Ron is and I'm a little sad he's portrayed like a lunatic by MSM.
