Equal opportunity of course, there is no such thing as equal outcomes because each person is completely different with different motives, different dreams, different needs. The idea that you can, in some imaginary world create a system that would allow for such equal outcomes has been attempted several times, each with disastrous results, usually massive starvation, not to mention that while leaderships under those types of system usually benefit greatly, the general population does not.
