If I had my say about what should be required for Ballot Access, I would say that the collection of signatures has nothing to do with PROVING that you are a legitimate party and should be on the ballot.

First of all ...Ballot Access should be the same for EVERY CITIZEN in the United States. That should be a constitutional amendment if needed.

The fifteenth amendment says: The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of race, the color, or previous condition of servitude.

The nineteen amendment says:

The right of the citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of sex.

The next amendment should add:

shall not be denied or abridged on account of Political party.

The Act should read

All organizations that wish to be listed as a political party on the ballot must submit to the county of their organization's headquarters, the following documents.

1) Statement of beliefs, mission statement, or purpose.

2) Proof of meeting at least four times in the past election year.

Verification of the meetings will consist of the following: a) the agendas for each meeting b) the attendance sheet for each meeting c) the minutes for each meeting

Once these documents are presented to the Board of Elections Agent the party shall have Ballot Access

I make the case that Corporations do not have to collect signatures or be a large corporation to be considered a corporation.

They only need to file the appropriate documents in the clerk of court

I have written this because the Equal Access Amendment has not gotten through to the NYC GA as I was told it would. And many of the things in the Equal Access Amendment are listed in the grievances on their own. I would have put some of them together in one Amendment.

I think even if we reverse Citizen's United, reverse the Glass- Steagall, stifle the lobbyists power... we still have Two Political Parties!! that dominate the choices. That is not a Consensus.

We need to be able to hear Idea. More Parties and Protecting the Media need to get on the list of demands. I'll take any ideas as to how to get this there. Thank You.
