Forum Post: End the corruption in congress: require congressionals/politicians to live a "monk's life" after serving.

Just a silly idea.. corruption is hard to stop. Politicians can rack up benefits while they're in office. They can secure all sorts of deals - comfy jobs, bribes, dinners, sex, connections, etc.

I want to stop this completely. Our lawmakers should have 1 thing on their minds - to make laws for us.

So, just a crazy idea, they simply cannot enjoy any benefits - until they are 65, or something like that. They should not use politics for their enjoyment - their work needs to be for the 99.98%.
