Forum Post: End America Now!!!!

Posted 13 years ago on Oct. 8, 2011, 1:15 p.m. EST by madness (12)
This content is user submitted and not an official statement

Time to arrest everyone and burn the US Constitution? Death to all who resist this hope and change?

The above is written as satire to show how shallow and stupid OWS movement really is.

This coalition is made up of losers and degenerates who failed at jobs and school, and have no hope of a future without rebellion and revolution.

The answer to your fate? God gave you a brain - use it!!!! Go back to school (funded by Wall St) and create a new occupation.

Become an entrepreneur. Become a capitalist. Own property. Engage in commerce.

Take over Wall St from within.

I own a small business and I support the 99%. I used to work a 40hr week and so did my husband. Now we work all the time, wear many hats. If people don't have jobs, they can't support my business. Last year we made just over 40K. We are 100% self financed. If my business closes, everything that's in it goes with us. It is a very difficult way of running a business. I have been a worker bee for most of my life and working even harder now. I think some people look at the 99% as degenerates, stoners, loosers. I don't. Not everyone has the opportunity or financial means to be an entrepreneur, capitalist, property owner and what if all of the 99% did? Business needs employees; face it, some people will be employees. They, along with many other people are "fed" (no pun intended) up with many different things and the face they are putting on it is Wall St. There has been no indictments, no nothing on the bailout of Wall St. but there have been plenty of bonuses. We have a right, a duty to speak our mind.

[-] 1 points by PlasmaStorm (242) 13 years ago

They have a right to their bonuses just as you have a right to your 40 hour week job and anything else.

I own a business, and my own property. I am a capitalist that engages in commerce each and every day. I support OWS because I do not believe that how much money you have should be able to dictate the influence you have on the political system that is designed to represent all people.

[-] 1 points by ForTheWinnebago (143) 13 years ago

//I do not believe that how much money you have should be able to dictate the influence you have on the political system that is designed to represent all people.//

That would be a wonderful guiding philosophy for this movement, or whatever it is.

[-] 1 points by gracie (16) 13 years ago

I don't know where the hell you went to school, but Wall Street sure didn't fund my education!

[-] 1 points by madness (12) 13 years ago

Research - Grad departments - (supply TA's to teach undergrads). Building new structures on campus - endowments to help pay education? Think hard... then again it might be too much a strain on your brain...

[-] 1 points by mgiddin1 (1057) from Linthicum, MD 13 years ago

Hostility doesn't persuade people to your argument.

[-] 1 points by madness (12) 13 years ago

These are not hostile words - They're action and purpose: "Become an entrepreneur. Become a capitalist. Own property. Engage in commerce. Take over Wall St from within."

[-] 1 points by mgiddin1 (1057) from Linthicum, MD 13 years ago

Well, I should be more specific - name-calling does not forward your cause (you called OWS "shallow and stupid"). Look, I agree with you. I believe in true capitalism, however - I don't think true capitalism has existed in a very long time, certainly not since 1913 and maybe not since Jackson 'killed the bank'.

Last time I checked many of us have jobs and are educated (many over educated).

Speak for yourself buddy. Remember, these kids are going to rule the government someday. I want my nephews to be able to have an american dream without elected officials being paid to puppet corporate special interests.

[-] 1 points by madness (12) 13 years ago

Speak for yourself buddy as well. You're allowing Soros to controll OWS as we speak through MoveOn.org and Common Cause. Shows how much you know. BTW Soros - through MoveOn.org - is promoting the gay agenda. So much for your nephews' future.

[-] 1 points by FuManchu (619) 13 years ago

Gay agenda? What is that and how exactly is it going to affect his nephews future? Whats more disturbing is how you know that.

[-] 1 points by hotdoghenry (268) 13 years ago

Your over educated? What the fuck is that? You went to school too much? You people are a fucking joke! You want change yet you vote for morons like Obama and left wing A holes like Dodd Frank Reid Pelosi, Weiner etc! You have what you deserve. GO home, stop pissing my tax dollars away and vote. What a bunch of dickheads! Over educated? Yeah right! Your an ass hole!

[-] 1 points by yosteve (64) from Newbury, OH 13 years ago

And my difference in opinion some how makes me an ass hole? Maybe you're not educated enough. Good show.

[-] 1 points by yosteve (64) from Newbury, OH 13 years ago

Apparently you've never been in a job interview where you can over qualify for the job. Whether it be in education or work experience.

Many of us want ALL the current administration out because they all have ties to big business.

Good job at pointing out your lack of intelligence.

[-] 1 points by hotdoghenry (268) 13 years ago

Hey Dick head I have job. Your right I haven't had to go on a job interview in over 30 years. I own my own biz. But here's a tip. If someone comes to me looking for a job and they have an MBA, I show them the door. I'm not looking for professional students that learn theory in our radical left wing universities. I'm looking for experience or past success! Students today are brainwashed. Professors tell their students what they can and can't read! Keep doing what your professors in school told you and see where you get!

[-] 1 points by yosteve (64) from Newbury, OH 13 years ago

See you have been in the job interview as the interviewer and send them out because they were under-qualified and over educated.

[-] 1 points by hotdoghenry (268) 13 years ago

Your too naive to understand. I would rather the people that I hire were not educated in college. I would rather have people that had experience.

Today's Professors don't know what the hell they are talking about. They teach theory not reality. Even worse they teach their own brand of theory that has no basis in fact from real life experience.

[-] 1 points by jbell78 (152) 13 years ago

What about fields like medicine & law where a graduate (or better) degree is required to even be considered for a job? I respect your right to hire on whatever merits you see fit, but I don't think your outlook can possibly be applied to all industries - especially ones that require very highly educated workers.

I think ultimately you are making OWS's point though - there are tons of small business employers out there that DO NOT require college or higher education to consider you for a job. Rather than complain about degrees not getting you the job "you deserve", OWS needs to hit the job market twice as hard and lower their expectations a tiny bit. No one walks into a dream job. We all have to start somewhere and it's rarely pretty.

I own property, I do not yet seriously engage in commerce. I'm in school, and with a bit of luck and a lot of hard work I'll create a new occupation. I am behind this movement as stated in the "about" tab of this website. Please take the time to read it and respond.

[-] 1 points by madness (12) 13 years ago

so you're a trust fund red diaper doper baby.... lucky you!!!

[-] 1 points by Bootsw (39) 13 years ago

You'd think wouldn't you:) No trust fund here. I paid for my house.. well got 16k left on the mortgage but still paid for most of it. I do not take drugs.. not even the legal ones like booze(had a problem with that stuff and had to quit cold turkey), and cigarettes(yes I have formerly nicotine stained fingers).

Take a new view of this movement please. I understand where you are coming from, but until you read the "about" tab of this website you are not informed.

One reason outside of that bit of information on the OWS home page that I like this movement is that I am an American. We the people have a concern and do not feel that it is getting addressed. We would like to see that concern get addressed. In order to bring light to it, we are protesting. This is a fundamental right and duty to any civic minded red blooded American. This Right afforded by our BILL OF RIGHTS, is something that should NEVER be frowned upon. If you see a group of people protesting something, know that they are doing their duty as they see it as Americans. Whether you agree with it or not is absent from the question of its legitimacy. We must be allowed to exercise our rights. You as an American should see this and be proud that we CAN do it.

If you disagree, please do so with some solid footing and illuminating arguments. To do otherwise is to show your inability to think like a rugged individual.

Want to End Lobbying? Round up and arrest all Senators / Members of the House of Congress

[-] 1 points by captaindoody (339) from Elizabethville, PA 13 years ago

The way to end lobbying is to stop having the government involved in picking winners, losers and who gets the goodies. As long as government does that, there will be people trying to influence those decisions. Everyone wants a little of the unearned.

[-] 1 points by ForTheWinnebago (143) 13 years ago

Agree

[-] 1 points by GaryButtice (1) 13 years ago

I'm an accounting major about to graduate and find a job without too much difficultly and i completely support this movement. I understand how the financial system and politics work. That doesnt mean the system isn't totally F'ed. Our government is legally corrupt, lobbying should be a crime
