Forum Post: employ nonviolence resistance training ASAP

I implore anyone in the position to do so to call on any of our elders who are still available and willing to help that were a part of Dr King's nonviolence resistance during the Civil Rights Era. Those of us participating in these OWS uprisings need seious and immediate training in restraint, persistance and the power of love in order to protect ourselves as well as to advance this agenda without completely destroying the accompliments made thus far through peaceful protest. 'They' are just waiting for us to screw up even a bit to come down hard. We have seen past police actions to pepper spray and arrest wthout provocation. We need to be prepared and possessed of strong will to see this through. Read accounts of Montgomery AL bus boycott in the 50's for inspiration as well as Dr Kings autobio. AND PLEASE get those training sessions up and running in every city that has a OWS group. We can AND must do this together. Peace.....
